One Of My Favorite Sayings Is…

Individuals have different mantras, quotes, or philosophies that guide their lives and decision-making. Of course, the Bible should be our final authority in all matters of faith and practice, but I have found some statements (based on Biblical principles) that have helped guide me and my leadership of the ministries the Lord has given me. There may be no more of an influential example than this:

Quality Over Quantity

I’ve been the Director of a ministry called Bible Tracts, Inc. (BTI) for five years now (as of the end of 2024). Throughout those five years, we have striven for and often failed to live up to the statement above. But that has not diminished our desire to attempt greatness.

Vince Lombardi said, “Gentlemen, we will chase perfection, and we will chase it relentlessly, knowing all the while we can never attain it. But along the way, we shall catch excellence.”

I will not claim excellence (and certainly have no claim on perfection) on behalf of this ministry or our team at BTI, but I can tell you our goal IS excellence in all things. We will continue failing, BUT we will fail forward and fail fast. That means we will always strive to learn from our mistakes and correct them quickly.

Personally, my goals are the same. As our country struggles to find its way forward, may we be careful not to founder, as well. The principles of Scripture still stand secure. May God bless you and yours, and may God bless America.

For His Glory,

Micah McCurry

  1. So appreciate your ministry, & meeting your family. My precious husband of 62 years & I were so privileged to have adopted one of our 5 children from the Roloff Homes in 1969. Then our LORD led us to labor with their Christ centered ministry for 3 years. Then we were led into my husband teaching & coaching in Christian Schools. What a blessing. When or children were younger, in the summers, we journeyed to the Bill Rice Ranch, where faithful Paul Levine was serving our LORD. What blessing in our lives. We pray for your family & ministry.
